Feeding the Future: Poultry’s Role in Nutrition, Health & Sustainability: Combating Malnutrition, Enhancing Public Health, and Delivering Affordable Protein for All
As part of the 26th International Poultry Expo (IPEX 2026), the Pakistan Poultry Association (PPA) is proud to present a high-level Interactive Session dedicated to one of the most important global challenges ensuring access to safe, nutritious, and affordable food for a growing population.
This thought-provoking forum will bring together leading poultry scientists, nutritionists, healthcare professionals, academics, policymakers, sports personalities, media representatives, civil society organizations, and industry leaders to discuss the critical role of poultry in improving nutrition, public health, and food security.
The session will examine how chicken and eggs among the most affordable and nutrient-dense sources of high-quality protein contribute to healthy growth, cognitive development, immune function, and overall well-being across all age groups. Experts will also present the latest scientific evidence on the role of poultry products in addressing protein and micronutrient deficiencies while supporting healthier dietary patterns.
In addition to nutrition and health, the discussion will explore the importance of sustainable poultry production, responsible farming practices, and innovation in strengthening resilient food systems and meeting future food demands.
Designed to encourage meaningful dialogue and knowledge exchange, the session will provide participants with an opportunity to engage directly with experts, share perspectives, and identify collaborative strategies for promoting healthier communities and a more sustainable poultry sector.
By bringing together stakeholders from across science, healthcare, industry, government, media, and civil society, IPEX 2026 reaffirms its commitment to advancing evidence-based discussions and highlighting the poultry sector’s essential contribution to nutrition, public health, sustainability, and national food security.
We invite all conference delegates, exhibitors, professionals, students, and visitors to join this insightful session and be part of the conversation shaping a healthier and more food-secure future.
